Ninja Creami Strawberry Frozen Yogurt Recipe

This strawberry frozen yogurt comes out ridiculously creamy with that bright, fresh berry flavor in every bite. The full-fat Greek yogurt brings a high protein punch while keeping it light and refreshing, so you walk away feeling satisfied instead of sluggish. Perfect as an afternoon pick-me-up on a hot day, a post-workout reward, or a healthy sweet treat to serve up when you've got company.

Ingredients

  • cups Greek yogurt full fat
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • ¼ cup honey more to taste
  • pinch salt
  • liquid stevia optional

Instructions

  • Add the ingredients to a ninja creami pint (I use regular size, not deluxe) and blend with an immersion blender.
1½ cups Greek yogurt, 1 cup strawberries, ¼ cup honey, pinch salt
  • Taste and add more honey or a few drops of liquid stevia if needed, especially if your strawberries are under-ripened.
    liquid stevia
  • Place the lid on and freeze for 24 hours.
  • When ready, open the lid and check that the surface is flat. If it's not, flatten it smooth with a spoon.
  • Spin the pint on the lite ice cream setting. Scrape down the sides and respin if needed.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Pint Size: This recipe was made with the regular Ninja Creami pint container, not the deluxe.
  • Level Surface: Always check and flatten the top after freezing so your spins come out even and creamy.
  • Flavor: Use the ripest strawberries you can find because they make all the difference for nailing that rich berry taste.
  • Respins Work Magic: Don’t be afraid to scrape the sides and run a respin for that extra smooth texture.
  • Mix-Ins Later: Keep chocolate chips or extra sliced strawberries as mix-ins instead of adding them before freezing so they stay perfect.
  • Adjust Sweetness: Taste the mixture before freezing since strawberry ripeness varies a lot from batch to batch. You want it to taste a little too sweet before freezing, as it will taste less sweet once frozen.
  • Make Ahead: You can hold off spinning until you're ready to serve. Just blend the mixture, adjust sweetness, lid on, and freeze the pints so that they're ready when you need them.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Freezer: Press the remaining ice cream down in the in the Ninja Creami container so that its flat, and store them in the freezer for up to two weeks.
  • Respin: Leftovers will need to be spun again on the lite ice cream mode. You may not need a 2nd spin this time.
  • Leftovers Hack: Press the lid back on any uneaten portion right away so it stays creamy and doesn’t pick up freezer flavors. Here are some more ways to freeze leftover ninja creami ice cream.
  • Best Enjoyed Fresh: For the smoothest texture, dig into your high protein strawberry frozen yogurt within the first week after the initial freeze.
