Notes

  • Chunky or smooth: For a chunky dressing, mix gently. If you prefer it smoother, use a food processor to blend the blue cheese into the dressing.
  • Fresh is best: Use a high-quality wedge of blue cheese for maximum flavor. Pre-crumbled cheese works in a pinch but may lack the creamy texture.
  • Taste as you go: Everyone’s blue cheese tolerance varies. Start small and add more crumbles if you’re a blue cheese addict!
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container in the fridge, and always check expiration dates on dairy before mixing.

Storage instructions

  • Refrigerate: Keep your blue cheese dressing in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5–7 days.
  • Stir before serving: The dressing may thicken or separate slightly; a quick stir will bring it back to life.
  • Freeze cautiously: While freezing isn’t ideal, you can freeze it for up to 1 month. Thaw in the fridge and stir well before using, though the texture may change.
  • Label it: Mark the container with the date to keep track of freshness.
