Ingredients

  • 20 g 0.7oz cotton candy (candy floss if you're in the UK)
  • 24 candy eyes

Instructions

  • With clean, dry hands, take a pinch of cotton candy. Look at the shape and turn it gently to where you think the head should be.
  • Smooth the edges to form the ghost shape and place it on a clean, dry baking tray or plate. I just smooth the top of the head and leave the bottom a little ragged.

  • Make all of the ghost shapes before adding the eyes.
  • Add candy eyes by placing a teeny tiny amount of water on the back of the eye and sticking it on the ghost.
adding a bit of water with a paintbrush to the back of a candy eye.
  • Serve immediately!

Notes

  1. Keep everything dry: As much as possible, keep your hands dry, and whatever you’re placing the cotton candy on needs to be bone dry before you make this easy Halloween ghost recipe.
  2. Make and eat: These ghosts should be made right before serving or they may magically dissolve into thin air (thanks to the moisture in the air)! It’s best to serve these straight away.
